Since our partnership with St. Luke’s Health The Woodlands Hospital in 2009, we’ve worked closely with local hospitals and healthcare agencies to increase the health and wellness of our community and provide support to families and patients receiving care. 

This League year, we will support our community in the following ways: 

• Participate in numerous community outreach events, including the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and the Heart Walk
• Volunteer and participate in the Fall and Spring Interfaith Healthy Kids Festival at Travis Intermediate School in Conroe, Texas
• Host MD Anderson Blood Drives at JLTW Headquarters 
• Provide volunteers for seasonal events at the local health systems 
• Support Canopy Cancer Survivorship in their annual survivor celebrations
• Providing goodie bags for Nurses’ Appreciation Week at various hospitals in our service area
• Host our 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Clinic with Wonders and Worries for families who have experienced a terminal illness or traumatic accident
