Since our partnership with St. Luke’s Health The Woodlands Hospital in 2009, we’ve worked closely with local area hospitals, providing volunteers for events and offering support and resources for various special projects focused on women and children. Collaborating with national and local health agencies, healthcare professionals, and certified wellness experts, we design programs and activities based on scientific knowledge and industry-recognized best practices.

Our primary mission is to serve families visiting local hospitals, including Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands, Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, and St. Luke’s Health The Woodlands Hospital. We aim to create a less stressful hospital experience for these families while forging solid and meaningful relationships with our local healthcare organizations. We’re proud of the ways we’ve contributed to building a healthier community:

• Donating over 300 Teddy Bear, Kona Ice, a DJ, and care packages for Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands annual Teddy Bear Clinic. 
• Offering monthly footprint keepsakes for Houston Methodist The Woodlands neonatal and NICU nurses to give to parents of newborns. 
• Helping plan and providing volunteers for numerous community outreach events, including Walk to End Alzheimer’s and March of Dimes, with St. Luke’s and Texas Children’s Hospital, as well as other partnering health organizations. 
• Planning and volunteering at the annual St. Luke’s The Woodlands NICU Reunion party, inviting all former NICU patients and their families each year. 
• Volunteering and participating in the Fall and Spring Interfaith Healthy Kids Festival at Travis Intermediate School in Conroe, Texas
• Hosting the MD Anderson Blood Drive at JLTW Headquarters Quarterly
• Provide over 150 pumpkins for the Texas Children’s Halloween Carnival.
• Speaker series on topics that relate to women and health
• First Aid/CPR classes
• Providing goodie bags for Nurses’ Appreciation Week at various hospitals in our service area.
• Volunteer at the tree lighting ceremony at Texas Children’s Hospital
